Traci Kennedy

Lymington based singer songwriter Traci Kennedy brings warmth, personality and a natural presence to the local music scene. With a strong, expressive voice and engaging live style, Traci moves effortlessly between intimate acoustic songwriting and the blues.

Traci is a superlative songwriter whose style combines the emotional directness of folk, country and blues with a distinctive poetic sensibility. Her songs explore love, longing, regret, hope and relationships through deceptively simple language, memorable imagery and powerful refrains. Deeply personal yet immediately relatable, her writing has that rare quality of finding memorable words for feelings we often have difficulty expressing.

Traci is exactly the kind of artist Local Legends exists to celebrate: a genuine local songwriter with a unique and distinctive voice, and songs deserving to be heard much more widely. We’re delighted to help introduce her music to a bigger audience.
