MUSK

Friendly, fun and brimming with community spirit, MUSK (Milton Ukulele Strummers Klub), have brought smiles, songs and strumming to the New Forest since 2014.

Founded by Pete and Cis, seasoned ukulele players, MUSK began as a local club for people who love the uke, or simply fancied having a go. Since then it has grown into a well-established group, welcoming everyone from complete beginners to experienced players.

Built on the simple but powerful ingredients of fun, friendship and music, MUSK play popular songs that audiences can sing and dance along to. Whether performing at festivals, community events or nursing homes, their aim is always the same: ‘To Put a Smile on People’s Faces!’

MUSK have played at hundreds of events over the years and have never charged a fee, instead asking only for donations to charity. Their chosen charity is Honeypot Children’s Charity, for which the group and individual members have raised over £30,000, a wonderful achievement.

A generous, joyful and much-loved local ukulele group who fully deserve their place in ‘The Ukulele Hall of Fame’.
