Eddie Edwards (aka Eddie Woods)

A leading light in the southern New Forest ukulele scene, Eddie is a talented musician, songwriter and tireless champion of the music and community he loves.

As the driving force behind the annual New Forest Ukulele Festival, he brings musicians and audiences together for a joyful celebration of ukulele music. Through the festival and his many other performances, he also helps to raise valuable funds for good causes, including Honeypot Children’s Charity.

Whether he is organising a festival, entertaining an audience, supporting a band or raising money for charity, Eddie makes an outstanding contribution to the musical life of the New Forest.

A gifted performer, generous community figure and true ukulele enthusiast, Eddie thoroughly deserves his place in The Ukulele Hall of Fame.
